Thank you for visiting Burt Farms On-Line. We are always anxious to hear from grain and livestock producers from all parts of the global farming community. Our farms are located in Clay and Wayne County in Southeastern Illinois. We specialize in the production of commercial corn, soybeans, sunflowers, milo, wheat and hay. We hope to expand into the backgrounding of grass fed Angus Braunvieh influenced calves in the future. |

Our family history goes back over 100 years and we still farm the ground settled by our Grandparents Frank C. and Ruth Snyder Burt. We made the decision to continue the farming tradition when our Uncle, Joseph C. Burt passed away. He, and our Father, Herbert F. Burt were brothers and were born and raised on the farm. My sisters, Patricia A. Burt and Debbie Leininger do not actively farm with me, but afford me the ability to carry on the day to day farming operations and keep the Family Farm intact. Enjoy your visit, and don't forget to e-mail us @ theburts@bspeedy.com
